The Washington Monument is a structure called an obelisk, measuring 555 feet and 5 1/8 inches high. According to Wikipedia, an obelisk is: “A tall, four-sided, narrow tapering monument which ends in a pyramid-like shape at the top. These were originally called ‘tekhenu’ by the builders, Ancient Egyptians.” What Wikipedia failed to mention is that the obelisk/tekhenu is actually a gigantic tribute to the phallus. Freemasonry, Astrology, and the Washington D.C. Street Plan During the 1790s French Freemason Pierre L'Enfant designed the street plan and architectural layout of Washington D.C. to include many occult talismans. If you see D.C. from an aerial view, you may be shocked to find things like an iron cross (used by Hitler), the Star of David, an upside down (satanic) pentagram pointing to the White House, and even a pyramid with a huge owl sitting atop at the Capitol building. The Egyptian hieroglyph for the Illuminati Goddess Isis/Sirius is a star, an oval, and an obelisk all drawn together. In Washington D.C. there just happens to be the Washington Monument obelisk, the Oval office, and a pentagram encoded in the streets/architecture http://www.atlanteanconspiracy.com/2009/01/freemasonry-astrology-and-washington-dc.html

Ever wondered what happens if you don't protect the civilian evac site on the mission Of Their Own Accord? Well it turns out there's a whole mini subplot written into that scene if you protect it. A lot of it was cut from the final game it seems, but it can still be found in the game files. Secrets In Plain Sight is an awe inspiring exploration of great art, architecture, and urban design which skillfully unveils an unlikely intersection of geometry, politics, numerical philosophy, religious mysticism, new physics, music, astronomy, and world history. Exploring key monuments and their positions in Egypt, Stonehenge, Jerusalem, Rome, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco brings to light a secret obsession shared by pharaohs, philosophers and kings; templars and freemasons; great artists and architects; popes and presidents, spanning the whole of recorded history up to the present time. As the series of videos reveals how profound ancient knowledge inherited from Egypt has been encoded in units of measurement, in famous works of art, in the design of major buildings, in the layout of city streets and public spaces, and in the precise placement of obelisks and other important monuments upon the Earth, the viewer is led to perceive an elegant harmonic system linking the human body with the architectural, urban, planetary, solar, and galactic scales.

One reason is that citizens of the district do not have a voting representative in the national legislature License plates are emblazoned with the age old phrase "taxation without representation" that the colonies used during the Revolutionary War More wine is consumed per person in DC than anywhere else in the US The Arlington Ladies is a group of women who attend the funeral of every soldier in the national cemetery so that no soldier is ever buried alone In Washington DC there is 1 lawyer for every 19 residents For every US senator there are 74 lobbyists You probably could have guessed that the "Washington" in "Washington DC" comes from George Washington but did you know that the "Columbia" in "District of Columbia" is a tribute to Christopher Columbus Washington DC is not a city or a state. It is a special federal district created to be the seat of government Remember how we said that DC residents don't have voting rights in congress? That's because the district was created as a seat of government and not intended for people to live in (although today more than half a million people call it home) Ever since 1971 the district has had one representative in the House of Representatives but he/she doesn't have voting rights. The Library of Congress is the largest library in the country It has over 500 miles of bookshelves A former Mouseketeer wrote Washington DC's song in 1951 The White House was the place of residence for every US president except George Washington The US capitol building has its own subway lines Underneath the capital building is a crypt where George Washington was going to be buried And underneath that is a nuclear fallout shelter 8 presidents never went to college: Washington, Jackson, Van Buren, Taylor, Fillmore, Lincoln, Johnson, and Cleveland. The Empire of "The City" - Three City States - London, the Vatican, and the District of Columbia. The Empire of "the City" consists of three cities, which belong to no nation or state and pay no taxes: Vatican City, the City of London (inside London), and Washington DC. Vatican City controls the world through religion, the City of London controls the world through currency, and Washington DC controls the world through force. The City of London (or the Square Mile) is a plot of land approximately a square mile in London. It is independent from England and is ruled by the City of London Corporation. Located in the center of each city is an Egyptian obelisk erect. They are: the obelisk in St. Peter’s Square, the Washington Monument, and Cleopatra’s Needle in the City of London. One question that immediately springs to mind is why is there an Egyptian obelisk, which is a tribute to the Egyptian sun god Amen-Ra, in the middle of Vatican City? Contained within these three cities is more than 80% of the world’s wealth. The Empire of “the City” is essentially the British Empire, or more accurately, the forces behind the British Empire of the past. The Empire asserts its control over its colonies (such as the US, Canada, Australia, the European Union) through complicated means. One of their means of control is to have agents of their cause in high places of influence. This cabal of powerful manipulators is known collectively as the Illuminati, the Shadow Government, the Omega Agency, the Government within the Government, and so on. It does not matter what they are called. They are there and have been actively and legislatively writing away our freedoms and also have been working towards the "New World Order". Examples of this is the Patriot Acts, H. R. Bill 1955, the European Union Constitution, and the Security and Prosperity Partnership. As always, use this info to gather more info. Things you NEED to know BEFORE you go to Washington DC. DC is often referred to as "The District." You could easily spend a week in DC, especially if you want to see George Washington’s house in Mount Vernon and Thomas Jefferson’s house in Monticello. The City is laid out in a grid pattern with lettered streets running east-west, numbered streets running north-south. Diagonal streets — usually named after states — often intersect at circles (30 circles) Dupont Circle is my favorite circle. Comprised of four quadrants (NE, NW, SE, and SW), which spread out from the U.S. Capitol. Getting in There are three Airports -- none of them actually in DC Reagan (DCA) -- right next to DC -- connected by Metro or $20 Cab Ride Washington Dulles (IAD) Baltimore-Washington (BWI) Amtrak to Union Station Or Drive Transportation in DC Walk One of the 10 of the most walkable cities in the USA Travel + Leisure rated D.C. as the third rudest city in America, Metro Smart Trip Card Capital Bike Share 175 stations across the city Sign up for a day, or three Taxis/Uber plentiful Driving: Beware -- traffic is miserable and oneway streets abound Parking is expensive -- Use parking panda Museums Smithsonians are free Most on the national mall Air and Space has 2 locations -- one by Dulles Newseum and Spy Museum are expensive My favorite is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing No reservations required September 5, 2017 through March 2, 2018 Washington Monument elevator is really cool -- but it’s often broken Best gift shops are in the museums Government Stuff Capitol Building or the White House, make sure to book your tickets in advance. Capitol tour, reservations online or through your Congressional representative or senator. Capitol Visitor Center provides a limited number of day-passes starting at 9 a.m. White House, reserve a few months before your trip. Thru congressional representative. Time to visit Cherry Blossom Season Not the summer when all the school kids are there And the Summer is oppressively hot and humid, especially in August And maybe not when the govt is in full swing I like Winter -- no crowds at all Hotels Can be really expensive, as can parking My favorites are the Park Hyatt and the Mayflower Stay outside of DC in Arlington or Alexandria for cheaper hotels Just a short metro ride in to the city Food The national mall and monument area has almost no food Union Station and Le’fant plaza good for lunch, or around the white house Avoid the Chinese food in Chinatown -- it’s all really awful But George Bush’s favorite Chinese restaurant is just 20 minutes driving outside of DC Peking Gourmet Inn in Fall Church -- Awesome Peking Duck My Favorites: Potbelly My Favorites: Moby Dick House of Kabob My Favorites: Ben’s Chili Bowl DC is more than just monuments and the National Mall Get out and see the real DC Georgetown Penn Quarter Adams Morgan Smithsonian Zoo U Street Walk the red line Timecodes: DC General: 00:27 DC City Layout: 01:37 Getting in to DC: 02:35 Transportation in DC: 03:59 DC Museums: 06:02 Government Stuff: 08:51 Best time to visit DC: 10:05 DC Hotels: 11:43 DC Food: 13:51 The Rest of DC: 18:20 CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/yellowwsub You might enjoy watching some of my other USA Travel Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOVadUHX1B-Kv1gRgHpJoe33hGodcPi8R Yellow Productions on social media: FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/YellowProductionsTravel INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/yellowwproductions/ TWITTER: ChrisRaney GOOGLE+: https://google.com/+yellowwproductions Check out my blog at: http://yelloww.net Yellow Productions Merchandise: https://www.teepublic.com/user/yellowproductions Music: Easy Lemon Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

The construction of the Washington Monument began in 1848. From 1854 to 1877 construction was halted and the Monument was finally completed in 1885 The cornerstone was laid on July 4, 1848; the capstone was set on December 6, 1884, and the completed monument was dedicated on February 21, 1885. The capstone, made of aluminum, is engraved on all four sides with an official record of the construction of the monument. The west face reads: "Corner Stone laid on bed of foundation, July 4, 1848. First stone at height of 152 feet laid August 7, 1880. Capstone set December 6, 1884"; and the east face read "LAUS DEO" which means: "Praise be to God". The north and south faces contain names of the commission and the key men in the work of completion. At the time of its completion, it was the tallest building in the world, and it remains the tallest stone structure in the world. It is the tallest building in Washington, D.C.. The Heights of Buildings Act of 1910 restricts new building heights to no more than 20 feet (6.1 m) greater than the width of the adjacent street. This monument is vastly taller than the obelisks around the capitals of Europe and in Egypt and Ethiopia, but ordinary antique obelisks were quarried as a monolithic block of stone, and were therefore seldom taller than approximately 100 feet (30 m). On Tuesday, August 23, 2011, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake, occurred 84 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., damaging the Washington Monument. The National Park Service has temporarily closed the Monument and is assessing the damage to it. FACTS ABOUT THE WASHINGTON MONUMENT In 1783, the Congress approved an equestrian statue of George Washington that was designed by Pierre Charles l'Enfant. This plan never took off and in 1833, i.e., on the 100th anniversary of George Washington's birth, the Washington National Monument Society was created by James Madison and John Marshall with the purpose of creating a monument in memory of George Washington. *They wanted to construct the largest monument in the world with dimensions and magnificence that would be proportionate to the greatness of George Washington and also the gratitude that the people of United States felt towards him. The society began a fundraising campaign to construct the monument. *At the beginning, the society allowed each person to contribute only $1. By 1836, the society had been able to raise only $28,000. Although it was not enough to construct any monument, it was enough to hold a competition for the design, which is exactly what the society did. *The design competition that was held in 1836 was won by Robert Mills, who was an architect by profession. As per his designs, the monument would radiate simplicity and grandeur together just like George Washington. The design was a simple obelisk that was to be built as the centerpiece of the National Mall surrounded by flagpoles, with each flag representing a flag of the state. * The cornerstone was laid on July 4, 1848 and also includes the Holy Bible presented by the Bible Society. The same trowel was made use of that George Washington had used, to lay the cornerstone of the Capitol way back in 1793. Thousands gathered around the construction site to celebrate the moment. * The Washington Monument height was proposed at 555 feet and 5.1 inches while the width would be 55 feet and 1.5 inches. The walls of the monument were 15 feet (4.6 m) -- thick at the bottom and 18 inches at the top. The walls were covered with white marble that was brought in from Maryland. * Once the estimated cost was calculated, the society removed the limit of contribution per head. The society was able to collect $88,000 quickly and the construction took off. The total cost of building the monument was $1,187,710. * After 152 feet of the monument was built, the society ran out of funds and the construction ceased. Construction was stopped for over 20 years, with the Civil War also contributing its share to the delay. The point at which the construction was stopped in 1858 can be identified by the stones used above 152 feet. It has a darker tone of color when compared to the original ones. * Interest in the Washington Monument was renewed during 1876, the first centennial of the United States. The then President, Ulysses S. Grant, signed a bill approving government funding to complete the construction. The Army Corps of Engineers took over the project and completed the construction in December 1884. * While the monument is hollow on the inside, the inner walls are set with 189 memorial stones that are carved and presented by individuals, cities, states, societies, high dignitaries, and other countries. There are 3 floors in the memorial with messages: Bible verses and prayers are shared on the 12th, 20th and 24th floor. Thank you for watching my slide show. Please tell your friends about my slide shows and if you especially enjoy, please leave a 'thumbs up'. Be well! Nina

The White House Underground The Whitehouse is the official residence of the leader of the free world. Guests are allowed to visit parts of it but much of it, is still left a secret. But beneath the White House lies a vast system of underground bunkers, as well as the underground West Wing Command Center. This portion of the White House was constructed in 2010 shrouded in secrecy. When the bunker was being built, it was covered up with tall fences that went around the west wing. The tall fences and the visible bulldozers led many conspiracy theorists to outrageous ideas. What else could they have constructed here they’re not telling us. The Obama administration gave two reasons for the bunker: 1 to protect key people and data in order to render critical decisions and 2 secret relocation of the President and his secret service during a case of an emergency situation, on short notice. Guests are allowed to visit the oval office if it’s not being used. If no one’s looking, you might be able to search for the secret trap door located underneath the president’s desk that will lead him directly to the secret underground bunker! You didn’t hear it from us! What else could they be hiding from us underground? Are they preparing for a zombie apocalypse as well? 3. Mt. Rushmore Mount Rushmore is a well-recognized monument, depicted four American presidents. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. It took 14 years of hard work to complete and is truly a magnificent piece of art. But what could they possibly be hiding from us up on the mountain? Mount Rushmore was going to be more than just a cool sculpted mountain. The original designed had planned for this place to hold onto copies of important American documents. They actually planned to hold the real US constitution, Bill of Rights and even the Declaration of Independence at this location. Maybe the real ones on display are just well made forgeries and the government keeps the real copies here in Mount Rushmore for protection and so the public won’t know what the real ones actually say? It’s designed to be sealed with 1200 pound granite door for protection that could probably survive a nuclear blast.. 2. The Hoover Dam This massive engineering feat over the mighty Colorado River helps create hydroelectric power to Las Vegas and seven US States! It measures 221 feet high and took about 5 years to build, opening in 1936. It stands directly between Arizona and Nevada and is a huge tourist attraction. Many however don’t always realize the eery secret about this place. Over 100 people died constructing the dam due to the harsh conditions and the questionable safety practices at that time. Some believe that they actually threw the bodies into the concrete while it was being constructed. No matter the loss of life, the dam needed to be completed. Another strange happening here, the first person to die here was a man by the name of Tierney, who fell off a boat and drowned during a geological survey. The last person to die was his son Patrick who died 13 years later to the exact day as his father.. Strange but true. 1.Kryptos Kryptos is a sculpture by an artist named Jim Sanborn that’s found at the entrance of the CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia. It might not be a national monument but it’s right outside an important government building, which makes it even more mysterious and secretive. Ever since the sculpture was placed here, many have truly pondered the exact meaning of the encrypted message. It remains the most well-known unsolved codes in the world. Neither amateur or professional cryptanalysts have been able to come up with it’s meaning. The longer you look at it the worse of a headache you get. Many have claimed to have solved the first 3 parts of the puzzle but the fourth part still remains a huge mystery and is under debate. Could solving this puzzle result knowing a secret the CIA doesn’t want us to know about? Who knows!

For over a century, the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC have heralded the arrival of Spring. 3,000 cherry trees were a gift of friendship to the United States from Japan in 1912. In March of that year, First Lady Helen Taft and the Vicountess Chinda of Japan finally planted the first trees. Today there are nearly four thousand cherry trees planted around the Tidal Basin, along the Potomac river and on the grounds of the Washington monument and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. The peak bloom – a carefully forecast event that depends on weather conditions – is as stunning as it is brief. This video is a bonus feature on Finley-Holiday Films' Washington DC Tour DVD. It is available on location in Washington DC gift stores and from www.finleyholididay.com DM-26-4.1

The Washington Monument is south and east of the supposed ideal location, the accepted reason for it's location is the swampy ground. However there is a Hermetic Reason for it's precise location that can be measured. This also connects with the design and location of the Pentagon. As well sacreds and ties of the ancient and modern age. The Flower of Life and Egyptian Royal Mile theory does have relevance however there is a much deeper purpose that connects with multiple levels of esoteric architecture. The Pentagon is tilted from the East-West axis and apparently does not allign directly with the Capitol Building. Yet it does and it does so with elegance, an elegance that connects it to Maryland Ave as well as the Harmonic numbers of Sun, Earth, Moon and the geometry of Platonic Solids as well as many other ancient Hermetic fundamentals. In this video I will explain this and then compare these features with important sites across the world, both modern and ancient to confirm the intention the existance of this design. For the uninitiated it will be necessary to view at least a few of the previous episodes. The Event Is Coming Soon - The Occult Meaning of Washington D.C. & Why Secret Societies Are Obsessed with Ancient Gods & Goddesses Many people in the USA and throughout the world are aware that the acronym D.C. in the name “Washington D.C.” stands for the District of Columbia and the word Washington is the surname of the “first” President (George Washington) of the “United States of America”. What most people do not know about George Washington is that he was actually not the “first” President of the United States of America, because there were over a dozen presidents before him. However, he was the first President of the United States of America under the Constitution of 1789. Another important information that most people do not know about George Washington is the fact that he was a high-level Freemason and had strong connection to the British royal family. ----------------------------------------------------------- MAKE DONATIONS HERE http://theeventiscomingsoon.com/donation ----------------------------------------------------------- Source: http://omnithought.org/occult-meaning-washington-why-secret-societies-obsessed-ancient-gods-goddesses/6046 Visit our sister channel EVENT IS COMING SOON https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJcmcStuyZVEkQheqINZjBA Please visit our Playlist for additional intel: The Event Intel https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZX49q1VM8O0p0XzU10aCLsSS92iTVQeg Disclosure https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZX49q1VM8O0C40VKZcQt-GRdpRaUy4lh Politics https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZX49q1VM8O0wTVaYupBh1Rq17yto_52t Newest Videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZX49q1VM8O0c5ifCAZSE3J0pRR9BcgUI The Event Is Coming Soon https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNdcqCdkJ-EFv0IEU79MDUA SUPPORT US USING OUR LINKS! https://youtu.be/kbUatDGcpH8 ----------------------------------------------------- http://theeventiscomingsoon.com http://twitter.com/eventcomingsoon Copyright Disclaimer: Citation of articles and authors in this report does not imply ownership. A new measurement of the Washington Monument’s height reflects a nearly 10-inch decrease in stature. When it was built the Washington Monument was the tallest structure in the US. Since then, a lot of architectural achievements have surpassed the obelisk’s height, and it seems that even the monument itself doesn’t measure up the way it used to. A new assessment reflects a nearly 10-inch decrease in stature since its height was last determined in the 1880s. Back then it came in at 555 feet and 5 and one-eighth inches. Based on the latest calculations it now stands just over 554 and a half feet. Scientists from the National Geodetic Survey performed the update according to the standards set forth by the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. They say that though it is a bit smaller, there’s no need to panic. The vast majority of the difference simply reflects a change in the base starting point. As the mall on which the monument stands was recently revamped, a new, higher ground level is likely the reason for the bulk of the perceived shrinkage. The only actual loss is closer to 3/8th of an inch, and is the result of the wearing away of the monument’s pointed aluminum tip.

Take a tour of Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, United States -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. The Lincoln Memorial, sitting at the end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. is a moving tribute to president Abraham Lincoln. The monument is built in a Greek temple style with a statue of Lincoln sitting pensively at the center. Lincoln's statue is flanked by carvings of his two greatest speeches, the Gettysburg Address and his Second Inaugural Address. The Memorial has watched over many notable events, including The March on Washington in 1963 and Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech. The Lincoln Memorial can be seen on U.S. currency, in movies, and in person for free 24/7. Lincoln is widely recognized as one of the greatest presidents in American history, which makes his memorial especially fitting.

Each day, thousands of residents, commuters and visitors traverse Washington DC's Dupont Circle, one of the most historic and iconic neighborhoods in the nation's capital. Below its well-traveled streets, however, lies a secret unknown to many who pass above: 75,000 square feet of abandoned tunnels that have remained inaccessible for most of the last 50 years. Built in the 1940s to alleviate traffic concerns in the growing metropolis above, the tunnels allowed for trolley cars to pass under Dupont Circle and pick up passengers at two below ground stations. Following the closure of the DC's trolley system in the early 1960s, the tunnels were abruptly abandoned. Apart from a brief, unsuccessful venture in the mid-1990s to install a food court on the western side of the tracks, the space below Dupont has been largely forgotten by the world above. In the mid-2000s, a new organization called the Arts Coalition for the Dupont Underground was formed to pursue a new use for the space as a cultural destination. After years of petitioning, the Arts Coalition signed a 5-year lease with the city in late 2014 that will provide an opportunity to test out possible future uses for the space. For more information about the development of the Dupont Underground, visit dupontunderground.org

There are slides of National Archives Building, Library of Congress, White House, United States Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, National World War II Memorial, Washington National Cathedral, United States Botanic Garden, Bartholdi Fountain, etc. Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States. The signing of the Residence Act on July 16, 1790, approved the creation of a capital district located along the Potomac River on the country's East Coast. The U.S. Constitution provided for a federal district under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Congress and the District is therefore not a part of any U.S. state. The states of Maryland and Virginia each donated land to form the federal district, which included the pre-existing settlements of Georgetown and Alexandria. Named in honor of George Washington, the City of Washington was founded in 1791 to serve as the new national capital. In 1846, Congress returned the land originally ceded by Virginia; in 1871, it created a single municipal government for the remaining portion of the District. Commuters from the surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs raise the city's population to more than one million during the workweek. The Washington metropolitan area, of which the District is a part, has a population of over 6 million, the seventh-largest metropolitan statistical area in the country. The centers of all three branches of the federal government of the United States are in the District, including the Congress, President, and Supreme Court. Washington is home to many national monuments and museums, which are primarily situated on or around the National Mall. The city hosts 176 foreign embassies as well as the headquarters of many international organizations, trade unions, non-profit organizations, lobbying groups, and professional associations. I did a super quick hike to pick up a section of the Appalachian Trail I left stranded between two section hikes. This section goes between the roadside parking on US40 Baltimore National Pike, over the I70 footbridge, to Washington Monument State Park. http://dnr2.maryland.gov/publiclands/Pages/western/washington.aspx https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Monument_State_Park http://dnr2.maryland.gov/publiclands/Pages/western/greenbrier.aspx http://reservations.dnr.state.md.us/camping/greenbrier-state-park/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=MD&parkId=380506 I’ll eventually hike all the sections and claim the whole 2189.2 miles. At some point I plan to also do a complete through hike. The Washington Monument is interesting and the park is nice with good restrooms, frost free water, and benches to sit on. There is a lot of history on this part of the trail. Forrest Gump is a 1994 American epic romantic comedy-drama film based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis and starred Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise and Sally Field. The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, a naïve and slow-witted yet athletically prodigious native of Alabama who witnesses, and in some cases influences, some of the defining events of the latter half of the 20th century in the United States; more specifically, the period between Forrest's birth in 1945 and 1982. Released in the United States on July 6, 1994, Forrest Gump was well received by critics and became a commercial success as the top grossing film in North America released that year, being the first major success for Paramount Pictures since the studio's sale to Viacom earlier in the year. A short clip from the movie.

Take a 360-degree tour of Washington DC's monuments. Look inside the Jefferson Memorial, stand before the Washington Monument, watch a street performance at the WWII memorial and bubbles sail into the wind on the steps of the Lincoln memorial. Gain an appreciation of the size and grandeur of these monuments by virtually standing there. https://gumroad.com/l/washingtondc http://virtual360tourist.com https://fb.com/virtual360tourist https://twitter.com/vr360videos
