+++WATCH IN HD AND SMALL SCREEN+++ Finally it is done! I think I could have spend several more hours on this video but I just wanted it finished. But I'm certain that I will vid Elizabeth again. My original idea actually came from the lack of videos about her. There are so many videos about her mother Anne Boleyn - or her parents in general - and her cousin Mary Stuart, but very few with Elizabeth actually in the focus. As I'm not a fan of the movie "Elizabeth" (I was bored to death and I usually love everything remoutly historical), I decided to go with her portrayal in Showtime's The Tudors and the very, very loose adaption of her history with Mary Stuart in The CW's Reign. I tried to show her conflicting role as a female monarch in a patriarchal society while also having to live up to her father's legacy. I hope you enjoy it. ________________________________________________________________ Fandom(s): The Tudors & Reign Character(s): Queen Elizabeth I. of England aka Elizabeth Tudor Song: Zack Hemsey - See What I've Become

First of all.... +1000 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUBSCRIPTIONS, I AM SO GRATEFUL Then, here we are. I had planned to edit such a thing for a long while, and I believe the video speaks for itself. I wanted to show the rivalry between Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots and Elizabeth Tudor, Queen of England. I hope you enjoy it, but in any case, do not hate Elizabeth, just because you hate Reign!Elizabeth, or try not to at least. ▪ Fandoms: Reign, Elizabeth : The Golden Age the final quote is taken from here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZnf7pcATFw ▪ Music: When It All Falls Down by AudioMachine

THE LAST EPISODE OF REIGN... WOW!!!! Elizabeth's breakdown was heartbreaking, but beautiful, I couldn't help but scream "THAT'S MY BABY'S BABY" I'm so proud of her and I loved that "DAMN YOUR EGO" line, that's Anne Boleyn's daughter, kneel before the Queen. ▪ Music: Flares by The Script ▪ Fandoms: Reign/The Tudors

▪ Music: Oh no! by Marina and the Diamonds ▪ Fandom: Reign I am England I will bow to no men Thank God we have Gloriana, it had taken quite some time and a bit of nonsense romantic plot but YAY WE HAVE GLORIANA NOW, we finally have a Tudor Queen, THE TUDOR QUEEN! Sadly the series is over but I have to say I really appreciated this last part of the last episode (even though that poor Tilbury speech deserved better, for example not to be delivered in the palace, just saying). If only they have written Elizabeth better, so much wasted potential as always but it's the CW, it's my fault to expect more... ps: stop this hate on Elizabeth, even if I don't adore the CW version either, you have to admit that Mary threatened her and her reign since season 1, planning her murder when? 3-4 episodes before the finale?!?! and then asking for her help only in the moment when she realised she might be close to lose everything. The truth is, and you can see it even in this inaccurate show, that Mary has been an awful ruler, hated even by her own people that has lost everything because of her stupid choices in terms of husbands (first a catholic in a protestant country, then the killer of the previous) I do not say she wasn't a victim because she was, but Elizabeth, instead, was the Queen that finally guaranteed peace and stability in England, ending a bloodshed that had lasted decades. We would have never had Shakespeare without her, so have some respect, she did the best she could, and to you all I gladly recommend to watch these two documentary, which give a more objective view on the rivalry between these two. https://www.my5.tv/elizabeth-i/season-1/episode-2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3F8iq7aT4Y

On Wednesday, the queen surpasses Queen Victoria’s reign over a century ago of 63 years and 216 days. The queen decided not to celebrate the milestone privately. She will instead be riding on a steam train in Scotland along a new stretch of railway that she’ll officially declare open. Mark Phillips reports from Newtongrange, Scotland.

The Crowning. The Queen sitting in King Edward's Chair, the Archbishop, assisted with other Bishops, come from the Altar: the Dean of Westminster carrying the Crown, and the Archbishop taking the crown did reverently and place it upon the Queen's head. At the sight whereof the people, with loud and repeated shouts, cry, GOD SAVE THE QUEEN The Princes and Princesses, the Peers and Peeresses put on their coronets and caps, and the Kings of Arms their crowns; and the trumpets sound, and by a signal given, the great guns at the Tower were discharged. The acclamation ceasing, the Archbishop says: "God crown you with a crown of glory and righteousness, that having a right faith and manifold fruit of good works, you may obtain the crown of an everlasting kingdom by the gift of him whose kingdom endureth for ever. Amen."

Queen Elizabethʼs life has been a journey like no other. Throughout her reign, she has been the United Kingdom's symbol of continuity and stability. Her many visits to the nations around the world have won her the unwavering respect of her subjects and peers. The Queen has brought new trends of modernization and openness within the monarchy, and has kept the institution relevant in a rapidly changing world. Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born on April 21st 1926. She was the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, subsequently King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. When aged just eleven, her uncle Edward abdicated the throne when his marriage proposal to divorcee Wallis Simpson provoked a constitutional crisis. Elizabeth's father became King, and she became second in line to the throne. On her 21st birthday she pledged her devotion and loyalty to the monarchy, and vowed to serve it for as long as she lived. The announcement of her engagement to her sweetheart Prince Philip of Greece created wedding fever amongst the British public. It was a welcome distraction from the hardships of World War II, and the dawn of a new era. The wedding day became an international celebration with the worldʼs leaders gathering to witness the historic event. Elizabeth and Philipʼs happiness was enhanced almost one year later, when they welcomed their first baby, Prince Charles. The nation rejoiced at the news of the birth of the Prince. Two years later, Princess Anne was born. Whilst travelling on her way to Australia for a Royal visit, she was informed that King George VI had passed away. Elizabeth immediately returned home, and ascended to the throne as Queen Elizabeth II. The coronation took place in Westminster Abbey on June 2nd 1953, and was broadcast on television and radio all around the world. With the births of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward in the 1960ʼs, the family was complete. Over the years, it had been reported that the Queenʼs relationship with her children is at times distant, only becoming warmer since the death of the Queen Mother in 2000. Elizabethʼs commitment to the cause has always put her role as Sovereign above all personal concerns, including her own children. Since being crowned Queen of the British Commonwealth, Elizabeth has travelled near and far to meet many of her subjects, and see for herself the popularity of the British Monarchy. This has made her the most widely traveled Head of State in history, and the first reigning Monarch to circumnavigate the globe. During her reign, the Queen has not only had to contend with issues of a public nature to do with the Kingdom, but also ones of a personal nature within the Royal Family. At times she has had to navigate cautiously around the publicsʼ perception of the Monarchy, and pressure that comes from being in the public eye. There has been much speculation about whether she will allow Charles to succeed to the throne, as she has been carefully grooming Prince William to adjust to life as a future King. Without any doubt, that she is one of the most popular Monarchs in history. Queen Elizabeth II has steadfastly gone about her duties as both Princess and Queen of the British Empire. Amongst it all, she remains true to her cause -- upholding the British Monarchy in the face of an ever-changing world. Long may she Reign Supreme.
