Our stay in San Jose del Cabo was amazing. We enjoyed gorgeous beaches (watch till the end!), a peaceful, artsy downtown area, where we discovered the cutest little B&B, plus, a beautiful home base - the Marquis Los Cabos All-Inclusive Resort! Los Cabos has a ton of new experiential hotels and activities that will appeal to a range of personality types. Here are my top 7 things to see and do in Los Cabos. Take a Cooking Class at Los Tamarindos Los Tamarindos is a 17-acre organic farm and restaurant tucked away in San José del Cabo. Get your hands dirty and take a four-hour cooking class here, which starts in the garden and ends at the dinner table. It includes a lesson in local delicacies and delicious, hand-crafted cocktails—because cooking is always easier with booze. Attend the Art Walk in San José Del Cabo Each Thursday night, San José Del Cabo plies art and design lovers with tequila and light bites as they interact with artists and gallery owners. Unlike a lot of art walks, the art here is actually pretty good, ranging from highly conceptual to just plain fun. The weekly event is free to all and one of the best nights out in San José. Hit the Floating Margarita Bar at Chileno Bay It’s five o’clock somewhere and that somewhere is the brand-new Chileno Bay Resort & Residences. When you hear the bell clanging, that means the floating margarita bar is open for business. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the signature margarita made with silver tequila and black lava salt. Swim With Whale Sharks in La Paz Whale sharks gather in the Sea of Cortez from August to May in order to gorge on plankton and enjoy the warm waters of Baja California Sur. Cabo Adventures operates a full-day tour that brings guests from Los Cabos to La Paz, Mexico, so that they can swim alongside these gentle giants. Visit El Mercado El Mercado is a new, under-the-radar food hall in San Jose Del Cabo serving local treats and eats. Stop by for a bite on your way to the airport, since it will most likely be on your way. Stay at Hotel El Ganzo Hotel El Ganzo is probably the funkiest hotel in all of Los Cabos. Each month, artists and musicians come for a residency where they either leave their mark with a piece of art or record a song in the hotel’s subterranean studio. The hotel also lends out bikes so that guests can take a scenic ride along the marina, which is also lined with artwork and sculptures. Get Dinner at Sunset Mona Lisa There is no better place to watch the sunset in Los Cabos than Sunset Mona Lisa, an Italian restaurant carved into the cliffs of Cabo San Lucas. It’s one of few places where you can see both the sunset and the region’s famous rock formation, El Arco. This ultra-romantic, terraced restaurant is the perfect place to bring that special someone and take in the beauty of Baja California Sur. ___ If you value experiences over consumerism, if you think there's more to life than the 9-5, if you want to travel to every country in the world before you die, subscribe to my channel, and let’s see where we end up next: http://ow.ly/Vx3Xs Snapchat: JoanJetsetter Blog: http://www.joanjetsetter.com/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/JoanJetsetter Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JoanJetsetter/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/JoanJetsetter Vine: https://vine.co/JoanJetsetter Tumblr: http://joanjetsetter.tumblr.com/ Executive Producer: Skye Mayring Editor: Gerardo Jaquez Lechuga My trip to Los Cabos was made possible by the Los Cabos Tourism Board. Los Cabos is a municipality located at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula, in the state of Baja California Sur. It encompasses the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, as well as the Resort Corridor that lies between the two. The area was remote and rural until the latter 20th century, when the Mexican government began to develop Cabo San Lucas for tourism, which then spread east to the municipal seat. The main draw is the climate and geography, where desert meets the sea, along with sport fishing, resorts and golf. This tourism is by far the main economic activity with over two million visitors per year. The town of San José del Cabo is located at the foot of the Sierra de la Laguna, the state capital of Baja California Sur. Although it is the seat of government for the municipality of Los Cabos, it is smaller than the other city of Cabo San Lucas. However, because of federal and private investments in tourism, its growth is now rivaling that of the more famous resort area

Worldmark Coral Baja Review. A testimony and review from a very happy guest who stayed at the Coral Baja with his family in July 2016. http://www.CaboVacationGetaway.com. San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos, Mexico. Great Time in Cabo! We had a great experience at the Coral Baja! We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness and general upkeep of the property. The workers were constantly cleaning the pool, the tennis court, even the ping pong table! The facility was immaculate. The pool was great and we enjoyed the swim up bar and other dining and entertainment options. The nachos at Mama Mia's are wonderful! We really enjoyed the beach and even though the waves were big, we were able to enjoy the water every day. Everything is within a quick cab ride of the Coral Baja. The room was just right for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook in and the Mega store is a 1/4 mile away. The beds were awesome!! We were very pleased with our accommodations. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly suggest a visit to the Coral Baja and San Jose del Cabo! Matt B. July 7, 2016 Like us on Facebook. http://cabovivo.com/day-trips/a-taste-of-san-jose-del-cabo/ | A Taste of San José del Cabo Thanks to its big-time fishing tournaments and boisterous nightlife, Cabo San Lucas is now the more famous of the two cape cities that largely populate the Los Cabos municipality. But this was not always so. Until the advent of the tourist age some 50 years ago, San José del Cabo was far better known. Before 1960, there was little in Cabo San Lucas save a cannery and about 300 residents. San José del Cabo, by contrast, has been an important regional community for almost 300 years, since the Jesuits first built a mission there in 1730. Not only is it the current seat of local government, but it boasts the sort of historic architecture unknown in Cabo San Lucas, from a beautiful old Catholic church to a stately City Hall topped with a nearly century-old old clock tower, and a courtyard filled with murals that trace the history of both the region and the country at large. Outside City Hall, outlined by an enormous flag and the broad central plaza, lies the Jardín de los Cabeños Ilustres. This is the place of honor reserved for busts and plaques detailing the accomplishments of the area’s most famous residents, including Lt. José Antonio Mijares, whose elevated monument was built on the place he died defending his homeland during the Mexican–American War. Nowhere, however, is this colonial style city’s beauty shown to greater advantage than in its picturesque and cobblestone studded Distrito del Arte, where each Thursday evening during tourist season galleries throw open their doors to celebrate the seasonal Art Walk. Like Todos Santos, San José del Cabo has long been noted for its thriving arts community. Aficionados will find works both contemporary and classic, including high-quality painting, sculpture, pottery, glassware and jewelry. An eye for art is hardly a prerequisite to enjoy the weekly event, however, since the Distrito del Arte is also home to a flourishing drinking and dining scene. The state’s first microbrewery, Baja Brewing Company, is located in the heart of the Art District, as is one of the region’s finest taquerias, La Lupita Tacos & Mezcal. The region’s burgeoning farm-to-table movement is also centered in San José del Cabo. Beyond the city streets and the sculpture lined marina at Puerto Los Cabos, acclaimed restaurants like Flora’s Field Kitchen, Acre and Huerta Los Tamarindos are returning Mexican cuisine to its roots. Literally. The chefs at these bucolic eateries source their organic fruits and vegetables from adjoining fields, their seafood fresh from local waters. http://cabovivo.com | CaboViVO is your video guide to the breathtaking natural beauty, vibrant culture and boisterous nightlife that make Los Cabos one of the most spectacular and exciting places on earth. RATHER GO TO CABO SAN LUCAS? OR CABO SAN JOSE? THEY ARE ON DRIVING DISTANCE BUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TOWNS IS HUGE! TOURISTIC VS NOT TOURISTIC! I studied economics and went into business, but I never really liked it. I decided to follow my dreams and start traveling and seeing the world I’m crewing on different sailing boats. You can call me a boat hitch hiker. I started in San Diego on the Baja Haha ralley and am planning to cross the Pacific Ocean. Join me on this amazing sailing adventure from the United Stated through Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, The Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, The Kingdom Of Niue, Rarotonga, Tonga, Fiji, some other small islands and ending up in New Zealand I aim to create an entertaining piece of content about my travels about 1 time per week. Unless literally everything goes wrong, but than still, I'll try to make a video about that! The total length of this trip including Island visits will be more than 10.000 nautical miles. I promise you beautiful scenery and all the things that go right and wrong by living on sailing boats as a crew member! By creating these VLOGS I hope to put a smile on your face!

Cabo has great sceneries, food, and environment. I truly enjoyed every single day with my family going on walks to the market and drinking damn near everyday. LOL It is a great place to relax and enjoy the views that surrounds it. Can't wait for my next vacation

We stayed at the Secrets Marquis in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico in late November and early December 2013; we were there for 11 days for our 30th wedding anniversary. The resort was very nice, smaller in size, well appointed, with a focus on customer and food service. The meals we had there were among the best we'd ever had at an all-inclusive style resort. Top notch! Our room, ocean front with a balcony, as they all are, was 650 square feet, with a separate bath, shower and toilet in the oversize bathroom. A better than average place to be sure. Would recommend for any romantic getaway. After all it's adults only. Art Walk in San jose is a popular weekly event. Every Thursday evening between the months of November and June, the galleries welcome guests to enjoy an evening strolling the neighborhood, viewing art, sipping wine and dining at the fabulous neighborhood restaurants. All who participate are open from 5pm-9pm and often certain galleries will have special events such as "artist in attendance" or openings of new work. It is a great night to come downtown and enjoy what the Art District has to offer.

Mi Casa in San Jose del Cabo serves traditional Mexican cuisine in a beautifully decorated old Spanish colonial building that used to be a private hacienda. Located across the street from the Mission in Old Town, it's right in the center of the area's famous art galleries although the restaurant itself is a gallery of Mexican artworks. A must visit if you're anywhere near San Jose. Video produced by Richard Chudy, http://www.cabosbest.com
