💪 5 Proven Tips To Get Bigger, Harder, More Vascular Muscles

Proven formula for increasing your testosterone & building more muscle: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/BuildMoreMuscle Or discover the only 4 ways to build muscle: 👉https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6ZSOu2CinM Lower blood sugar, improve insulin sensitivity and lose fat: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/InsulinAndVeins =============================================== 💪 5 Proven Tips To Get Bigger, Harder, Vascular Looking Muscles =============================================== “This video was awesome, but I how can I get my muscles to look hard, full and vascular? I’m lean, but I always look “soft” and “flat”. Nothing “pops” like it does with the fitness and bodybuilder guys you see in the magazines, movies and online” Harder, Fuller, Vascular Muscles However, there are some “secrets” or proven tactics to getting harder, fuller, vascular/veiny looking muscles and I’ll reveal them today. Tip #1 - Leaner Is Better What’s important to note is that I’m 6’3”, but only weight 200 lbs. So I give the ILLUSION of “looking” bigger because I’m lean and under 10% body fat. So, that’s the first secret - you have to get lean. When you’re lean, you’ll have more muscle separation, you’ll have more veins and thus, your muscles will “pop” more because they’re not hiding under a layer of fat. Tip #2 - Hydrate Normally I’m fuller than these pictures and more vascular as the day progresses because I’ve had a lot more water, electrolytes, carbohydrates, food and minerals. These pictures were taken first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach with very little water, so I was “flat”, rather than being “full”. This is one problem with people who are always on a low-carb diet (ketogenic, paleo, intermittent fasting, etc.) . They look flat and depleted, even when they are lean. Carbs help fill out your muscles because they hold 3x their weight in water. When your muscles are hydrated, you’ll look fuller, bigger and harder.. And your blood volume will also be higher and thus, you’ll be more vascular too. HOWEVER, I put Himalayan or Celtic salt in my water and on my food. This keeps me hydrated and that’s the secret. My workouts are a lot better too. I’m stronger and I get better pumps. However, REAL salt does the opposite - it retains the water in your muscles, not under the skin. Tip #3 - Improve Insulin Sensitivity The problem with having carbs is NOT higher blood sugar, but poor insulin sensitivity. In fact, the more muscle you have and the lower your body fat, the better your insulin sensitivity, the MORE carbs you can eat, the easier it is to gain muscle and lose fat. More salt and water will also help improve insulin sensitivity, so keep doing that. Better sleep, has lots of benefits, including better insulin sensitivity as well. Tip #4 - Specific Workouts How you exercise, what you do, how often all can make a huge difference in how you look. First, you need to lift heavier weights to create a more dense, harder looking muscle. Do sets at 6-8 reps to hit your fast-twitch muscles, as well as higher 10-15 reps. Both are needed. Secondly, exercising too much, too often, too long causes stress hormones such as cortisol and aldosterone to go up, while also DECREASING insulin sensitivity and testosterone levels. The end result not only will you start to lose muscle and also gain fat, but your muscles will be depleted, flat and “stringy” looking. This gives that “skinny/fat” look, rather than “lean/hard” look. So I suggest lifting weights for about 45 min, no more than an hour, 3-4x weekly or every-other-day. Tip #5 - Improve Your Hormones Because my background as a doctor is in endocrinology - the study of hormones, this is an area I’m most passionate about. This is why steroids work so well, not only in building muscle and losing fat, but making you look harder, fuller and more vascular. However, simply optimizing your own hormones naturally, will go a long way in making improvements in how you look, feel and perform. This is how I do it because it’s so much safer, healthier, easier to maintain and you won’t have any of the negative side-effects (hair loss, zits, man-boobs, high cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.) This means higher “positive” hormones - such as Testosterone, GH, IGF, DHEA, etc., while minimizing “negative” hormones such as estrogen, prolactin, cortisol, DHT, etc. #muscle #weightlifting #vascularity ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. Dr Sam Robbins (14 days ago)
This is a great question. First, I’ve been around 200 lbs for well over 20+ years. Sometimes I gain a little weight and go to 205 and other times I get really lean and down to about 195-197. However, 95% of the time I’m around 200 lbs and that’s the secret when you’re natural. Going up and down, bulking and cutting is really hard on your hormones when you’re natural, especially someone like me who is in my 40’s and getting close to 50! (geez!) Thus, over the years I’ve slowly leaned up and continue to gain a tiny bit of muscle. Maybe 1 lbs of muscle every 1-2 years at the most. It doesn’t sound like much at all. However, when natural, you can’t gain that much MUSCLE (not just “weight”) after the initial 2-5 years. Also, I eat well all the time, exercise, rest accordingly, lots of supplements, optimize my hormones, etc., etc. It seems like a lot of work, but I feel and look good and certainly much better than the guys my age. So, it’s worth it. Besides, it’s a lot easier now because it’s part of my daily life-style and habits. Sure, I WISH I could gain 5 or 10 or more pounds of muscle, but I can’t. I’ve hit my natural limit. Improve your hormones, be nice to your body, take care of your joints and try to improve a little bit each year and you’ll be able to maintain it all the time.

Would really appreciate an answer, i’m a big fan!
R G (19 days ago)
Dr Sam Robbins You look great doc, but how do you stay lean all year around while being natty? Or are you just trying to maintain your current weight? No hate but I thought going below 10% bodyfat would be unhealthy & lower your testosterone if you’re natural? Again, no hate just concerned.
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
Thank you for your appreciation! And please share the videos you find valuable! It helps me help you!

Does vasectomy decrease testosterone?
Dr Sam Robbins (14 days ago)
Some people used to say it does, but I’ve spoken to many people who’ve had it done and they feel fine. Testosteorne and libito are still the same. You’re just not going to let the sperm “get out”, that’s all. Simply stated, the sperm, which are made in the testicles, cannot pass through the vas deferens once they have been cut and tied, so they are reabsorbed by the body. That’s it, no other change =)

Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
No Sanjay, I've already said here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbNyVIqZ36s that cardio lowers testosterone and increases cortisol in your body, which is not what you want if you want bigger muscles!

Lets say I drink a liter of water. How much celtic salt do I put?
Dr Sam Robbins (12 days ago)
It all depends on how much you’re also putting on your food. If you’re putting more on your food, you need less in you water. I always suggest starting low and building up. Your body will adjust by holding more in your muscles over time. I typically suggest about 3000 mgs total daily (food, liquids, etc.). I have some athletes taking 6 grams daily -- however, they exercise a lot, sweat a lot, have more muscle, drink more water, etc., etc., etc. They also eat very clean diets and thus, no "hidden sodium" found in packaged foods, sauces, etc., etc. If you're new to salt, I suggest you first remove all the bad sodium found in "packaged" foods and replace it with the good "real salt" I suggested in my video (Himalayan or Celtic) and then slowly build up. Again, all of this is relative to how much you exercise, muscle mass, sweating, metabolism, etc.

Even if i do calisthenics, do i gotta limit my workout to 45 mins? My workout is 1 hour 30 mins long and it gets incredibly boring.
Dr Sam Robbins (12 days ago)
If it’s boring, that tells you that it’s too much. Keep it shorter and challenge yourself. If something is boring, you won’t do it long term.

Hi doctor Robbins I would like to ask do you add salt in your food and water every single time?and how much ?1 teaspoon per meal or litre of water?
Dr Sam Robbins (12 days ago)
I typically suggest about 3000 mgs total daily. Jhonny Ruizz (19 days ago)
Dr Sam Robbins there's no such thing as overtraining, just undereating and undersleeping
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
your body is more complex than that, and besides muscles you also have your CNS... watch that video as I'm not going to repeat info that I've already put here. 7 days a week of training is too much!
Jhonny Ruizz (19 days ago)
Dr Sam Robbins I'm 15, and I havent got no rest days, and I think it's really working with me because I train a specific muscle group each day for example "Arms" next day "Chest and back" etc and those muscles get rest until I finish my other body parts, what u think of that ??
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
good for you... but don't forget your body needs rest... you should watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcjxUN44MhE

If we drink unboiled eggs then we get deceases?
Dr Sam Robbins (12 days ago)
If the egg isn’t from a healthy chicken, a slight chance. But, these are rare. If you feel more comfortable, please just SOFT boil it so the yolk is still runny.
Pichi Vadu (19 days ago)
Dr Sam Robbins . Actually one of my friend told me that unboiled raw eggs contain microbs and we may get health problems because of that . Is it really true?
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
I don't understand your question Pichi

Can doing body weight circuit training help improve testosterone levels and make your muscles look harder?
Dr Sam Robbins (12 days ago)
IF you’re gaining muscle and strength, yes. If you’d just doing it to “maintain”, then no. You have progress in volume, if you want bigger, harder muscles.

Instead of putting the pink salt in my water can I just put it on my food instead ? I love salt anyways so it wouldn't be a problem but I'm curious to know if there's any difference
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
it's more efficient in water, like I've mentioned... but celtic salt is healthy and you should swap table salt with it.
Warren Davis (20 days ago)
Is sea salt alright to add to water? When I used to train with these old bloke's, twenty years ago they used to tell me they made their own sports drinks by putting a pinch of salt in orange juice back in the seventies.

It's l want to have big muscles but am a pure vegetarian and am only 17 ......what can be done to have big muscles? ????
Dr Sam Robbins (11 days ago)
Also, add in some creatine into your diet and optimize your hormones. Many vegetarians have lower testosterone. At this age, just eat well, exercise, rest and have fun and things will work. It takes time.
Dr Sam Robbins (19 days ago)
as some people already said: you can have big muscles, only if your work out...
Aditya Pawar (19 days ago)
Hey Yowan, I understand your thrill for having big muscles, I have been there too, but trust me, firstly muscle building is a long and slow process, it happens over course of years, secondly you are too young to have big muscles, it just doesn't happen in that age, All you need to do is train consistently, and focus on major multijoint movements(compound) rather than bicep curls and tricep extensions, eat right, sleep right, keep bad habits away and most importantly enjoy the process of training rather than it's end result and you'll see awesome results in just 2-3 years, you'd be looking class apart by then 😉
Cheesy Cuban Sandwhich (19 days ago)
A lot of tofu and beans. A lot. But if you're a vegetarian you won't get very fat so you can just kind of pig in on vegan food, combined with exercise of course.

Thanks a lot doctor for this information. Can I get carbohydrates from buckwheat ?Because I don’t like white rice.
Dr Sam Robbins (11 days ago)
Yes, but buckwheat increases inflammation and also estrogen, both of which cause water retention - but in a good way. Too much and you’ll look “smooth and fat” after a while, compared to rice.
vlad vol (19 days ago)
Buckwheat is 100 times better than rice it has very low GI rice any rice is as bad as sugar do not eat rice it’s all BS

So I have to put salt in the water? I drink a lot of green tea with lemon
Dr Sam Robbins (9 days ago)
If you don’t want to put it in water, that’s fine. But it needs to at least be more on your food so it helps attract and absorb the water you do drink. Or else, it goes right through you.
